MDV Testing & Certification Setup

If your organization is unfamiliar with EDI or does not currently have EDI capabilities, TrueCommerce offers a variety of solutions that meet all our standardized requirements for purchase order, advanced ship notice, shipping label, and invoice documents.

SpartanNash has partnered with TrueCommerce to ensure compliance with SpartanNash’s Advance Ship Notice and Labeling requirements. All suppliers must have Advance Ship Notices and UCC-128 Labels testing and certified through TrueCommerce, even if your company is currently trading ASN’s with SpartanNash. If your company trades with different divisions of SpartanNash, additional testing fees may apply.

There is a one time charge of $395 for the certification. You will have a 30 day window to complete testing. If you are unable to complete testing within the 30 day window, you can purchase an extension for an additional 30 days. The cost for this is $197.50 (half the cost of the initial certification). Alternatively, TrueCommerce has a portal and assorted other options for purchase if you are unable to comply for any reason.

Preferred method of payment is credit card. If paid by check, there will be a processing and handling fee of $25 per charge (if both the original testing window and extension are purchased).
